Users and Sites: Together

See the full picture, faster

Sites and users are now connected, making it easier to understand who has access to what in HighQ. Whether you're reviewing a site, investigating user access, or carrying out governance actions, you can quickly navigate between related users and sites without creating additional reports.

You can now view and manage the relationship between users and sites directly within Govern.

This enhancement allows you to:

• View users associated with a site.
• View sites associated with a user.
• Drill down into related records without creating new rules.
• Perform site-level user actions directly from drill-down reports.
• Maintain context while navigating between users and sites.

Viewing Users from a Site

When viewing Site rule results, the following fields are available:

• Users
• Internal Users
• External Users

If the value is greater than 0, these fields are clickable

To view associated users

1. Open a Site rule result.
2. Select the Users, Internal Users, or External Users value.
3. A drill-down report opens showing users associated with that site.

Available views

You can switch between views without leaving the drill-down report.

Viewing Sites from a User

When viewing User rule results, if the user is a member of any sites, Sites field displays “View Sites” and the field is clickable.

To view associated sites

1. Open a User rule result.
2. Select the View Sites.
3. A drill-down report opens showing all sites associated with that user.

The report is automatically filtered to display only sites linked to the selected user.

Performing Actions from Drill-Down Reports

You can perform actions directly from drill-down reports without creating a new rule.

Actions on Users from a Site

1. Open a site's associated user report.
2. Select one or more users.
3. Choose an action:
4. Suspend from Site
5. Activate on Site
6. Remove from Site

The action is applied only to the selected site.

Actions on Sites from a User

1. Open a user's associated site report.
2. Select one or more sites.
3. Suspend from Site
4. Activate on Site
5. Remove from Site

All actions are recorded in the main Govern report history.

Navigation and Context

Govern maintains your navigation context while you move between reports.

Breadcrumb Navigation

Breadcrumbs show your current location and allow you to return to previous reports.

Preserved Filters

When returning to a previous report:

• Applied filters are preserved.
• Search criteria are retained.
• Report context is maintained.
