Overview
You can now edit an existing sync workflow, even after it has been activated. This allows you to update workflow settings without recreating the workflow, while protecting core configuration elements that could impact sync integrity.
Edit a Workflow
1. Open the Workflow
- Navigate to Workflows.
- Open the sync workflow you want to update.
From the worklow, use the drop down arrow to show your workflow Basic Settings
Use the Edit option and update as required
What Can Be Edited?
When a workflow has not been activated, you can update almost all configuration settings, including:
- Sync options
- Triggers
- Notifications
Note: The following settings cannot be changed:
- Source location
- Destination location
- Sync Type
Save Your Changes
- Review the updates you have made.
- Select Save.
- The workflow is updated successfully.
What Happens Next?
- Changes apply to future sync executions only.
- Updates take effect from the next scheduled or triggered sync.
Audit History
Every workflow edit is recorded in the audit history, including:
- Timestamp of the change
- User who made the change
- Details of the changes made
This provides a complete audit trail of workflow updates.
