How does Syncly authenticate my connectors?

Once your connectors have been configured, you can authenticate each one directly from the Connectors tab. Syncly uses the OAuth authentication framework, meaning each connector will prompt you to sign in to the relevant platform to confirm access. The Authenticated User column indicates which account has been used to authorise each connector.

No additional permissions are required beyond those already assigned to your user account in the connected system. Syncly simply inherits the same level of access you would have when logging into that platform natively.

For any additional users, the first step is always to authorise their own connectors, as they will not be able to create syncs until authentication is complete.
